Day 1 :

Fly to Paro (2,300 meters/ feet) explore Thimphu (2334 meters/ feet)

Catch a flight from Kathmandu towards Bhutan, which usually takes around an hour or so with spectacular views of mountains and valleys. Once you arrive at Paro and are done with your immigration, you’ll meet up with your Bhutanese guide who will accompany you throughout the journey. A short, picturesque drive of about 2 hours along the valley brings you to the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu. After lunch at a local restaurant, start your sightseeing with a visit to the Textile Museum, a traditional paper-making factory, and the post office to see Bhutan’s beautiful stamps which also depict the country’s myths, traditions, and culture. Alternatively, you can choose other sightseeing locations and attractions around or stroll with your guide. Overnight at Thimphu. Meal: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 2 :

Explore Thimphu: (2334 meters/ feet)

After breakfast, head towards Satsam Chorten and then a hike to the famous Takstang also known as The Tiger’s Nest Monastery, which is built on a sheer cliff around a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days, and three hours in the 8th century. Hike up on the hillside for around a couple of hours to witness breathtaking views of the valley. After lunch, visit Kyichu Lhakhang one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight at Thimphu. Departure Day
